Description:This custom kitchen project involved extending the kitchen and breakfast area by 5’ into the backyard. In order to do so, we installed a 2’ wide by 22’ long beam that recessed into the ceiling to sustain the weight of the roof and second floor. In addition to the custom kitchen, we enlarged the deck in the back and added a roof over it.
