Description:When Ephrata Hospital needed to upgrade their Central Sterile Processing Area without shutting it down completely, they knew they needed an experienced contractor that could problem solve, produce and maintain an hour by hour schedule, and that was flexible enough to work around the ever changing needs and conditions of the space while operations kept running. For a project with this much careful detail and attentiveness, they confidently chose to partner with with Heck Construction. This project was a complete overhaul of the existing space. Existing concrete floors were cut open to allow the new plumbing and recessed slabs to be installed, all while carefully maintaining a sterile environment. Heck’s foreman worked closely with the suppliers of the sterilization to ensure a smooth and seamless project.
